Take advantage of the Beauty UK baked bronzer

Hey beauts!! Has anyone used the Beauty UK baked bronzer before? I know it’s not a new product, but I only came across it when I was helping one of my best friends look for a bronzer a couple of weeks back. I had restricted time and she had restricted budget! So we stopped off at the local store  – Superdrug. Initially, I picked up the Maybelline triple layered bronzer, but then I came across this product, swatched it and decided to buy it as well.

First impressions – I like the colour and the ‘baked’ look it leaves me with. I get a dewy/golden finish rather than a vibrant glittery one and for £.3.99 it’s really not that bad. So for those on a budget, it’s perfect.

However,  it doesn’t have much staying power, but of course this may differ  with a setting spray/powder. (Let me know below if you’ve tried that out!)

But now for the clever bit…  I decided to experiment, so I first applied it with my short flat brush as a contour then layered it with The Body Shop ‘Baked-To-Last Bronzer’ in shade golden bronze. (It’s actually their best seller at the moment and I LOVE, LOVE this product, particularly because it’s lasted me a very long time, the clue is in the name!) And the ‘Blush Trio’ in shade warm sunset which is discontinued 🙁 . Once I’ve layered my products, the end result is pretty amazing!! See below for the unedited final look.

Previously, I contoured with the ‘Rimmel Natural Bronzer’ in shade sun bronze, but I found that it didn’t work very well, and it’s supposed to be waterproof, hmmm….

If this bronzer has caught your eye in the shops, don’t be put off, instead experiment, you never know what way it could be useful 🙂 . If you’ve tried doing the same, share below!
