Morning to evening makeup

Hey guys!

Have you ever applied your day makeup and found that you’ve suddenly got plans for the evening but then can’t be bothered to take off your makeup and reapply all over again?!? (and breatheeeee 😳) Well I’m here to tell you how to transform your makeup without wasting your time…

I started my day off with my usual routine of highlighting and contouring. (If you want to know how I do this step by step, let me know and ill be more than happy to post this for next time 😊). I decided to bring some shadow to the outer corner of my eyes, keeping it subtle towards the inner corners. I then picked up my Barry M palette and blended some dark and light grey eyeshadows to achieve this look.

Of course, unexpectedly, I only had an hour or so before I headed out and I had to rush off and decide what to wear and think about how to best apply my makeup. Well we all know one hour isn’t enough to get us girls ready, but I managed to quickly put an outfit together so I can then have more time to spend on my face! I had absolutely no time to waste, so starting from scratch wasn’t a good idea. The base was fine all I needed to do was top up my contour, add more blusher and dab on some slightly more intense smokey eyes. But the great thing is if you’re in a hurry, a bright and bold lipstick can do all the work for you! The one I used is by MAC girl about town.

Blending a frosty coloured black eyeshadow and lining my eyes with a smudge- proof eyeliner was all I really needed to do. And the hair? I just quiffed and pinned that down, then moved the rest to one side! Luckily I’m blessed with natural wavy hair, so that wasn’t something I needed to worry about.

Have you tried out anything similar? If so, tell me the story :)!!
